2018-07-17 09:00:58 UTC

yeah i saw these if anything im just trying to justify the price tag

2018-07-17 09:01:11 UTC

with anecdotal evidence

2018-07-17 09:03:01 UTC

@zzz DeWalt makes a similar one, seems nicer to hold, and you can get the two battery kit for that price, rather than having to wait for a recharge

2018-07-17 09:03:16 UTC

whats it called

2018-07-17 09:03:17 UTC

?

2018-07-17 09:04:02 UTC

DCF680N2 is the 2 battery kit

2018-07-17 09:04:24 UTC

Shop around, check eBay. They're love em or hate em.

2018-07-17 09:04:37 UTC

that shit's kinda big though

2018-07-17 09:04:47 UTC

just get a fucking dremel at that point

2018-07-17 09:04:50 UTC

sense = none

2018-07-17 09:05:05 UTC

I ended up with just the driver itself, no batteries in charger :( Gotta look into making an enclosure and just using 18650s or something.

2018-07-17 09:05:16 UTC

@Tervy fucking what? Different tools

2018-07-17 09:05:24 UTC

It's a screwdriver

2018-07-17 09:05:31 UTC

you saw his "screwdriver" on the first video

2018-07-17 09:05:35 UTC

sure is same thing

2018-07-17 09:05:41 UTC

:P

2018-07-17 09:05:55 UTC

What's special about it tho

2018-07-17 09:05:58 UTC

Fits screwdriver bits, gyroscopic control, clutch

2018-07-17 09:06:05 UTC

But. Why

2018-07-17 09:06:13 UTC

Versus 35000 RPM rotary tool

2018-07-17 09:06:34 UTC

@Deleted User Dunno, I just use screwdrivers. Neat gadget though.

2018-07-17 09:06:51 UTC

It's one of those new tools that has no real use

2018-07-17 09:07:03 UTC

And is going to probably brake before my toolset does.

2018-07-17 09:07:08 UTC

<:woah:333623269674713098>

2018-07-17 09:07:33 UTC

Nah, the people that have them love them, they work well. They're just an odd luxury type thing.

2018-07-17 09:08:05 UTC

If it's worth buying is the only debate, not if it's a good tool.

2018-07-17 09:08:23 UTC

Seems not worth unless you rarely need to use it

2018-07-17 09:08:42 UTC

I mean... Yeah, don't buy tools you won't use.

2018-07-17 09:09:28 UTC

...a phrase I should be the last person ever to say

2018-07-17 09:09:36 UTC

<:wholesomethonk:373550351082848267>

2018-07-17 09:12:08 UTC

I need to buy more tools for a project

2018-07-17 09:12:10 UTC

yeah it wouldnt be worth it if my day job didnt involve disassembly of a ton of shitty laptops

2018-07-17 09:12:29 UTC

just seems like a nice convienience

2018-07-17 09:12:47 UTC

for that just get proper electric one and not a toy ?

2018-07-17 09:13:17 UTC

i'd figure the ES121 would be considered a proper one, wouldn't it?

2018-07-17 09:14:06 UTC

being able to pocket it is nice

2018-07-17 09:17:53 UTC

stuff like this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001GFINJ8 comes to mind for quarter of the price
