@kontroll @nitrokojote @timsandtoms should I be disassembling the shaver to let it dry?
Nah, just hang it or somethin.
Just make sure you dry the head and such
The short shaving gel I used seems to leave residue on metal so I disassembled to wash it off
Should get some shaving soap.
And a brush
I might just get a soap/cream
It'll wash off a lot easier
Don't feel like cleaning up everytime I shave
Yeah
@Millwood I just shake and wipe the head off to get rid of most of the soap scum.
is this legit <:pepewot:327934404234313739>
kingspec never ever

"yu sen in firs, we see if approv an den repay shippang"
But Chairman Xi is pushing semiconductor industry
@Millwood I mean, the ideal is to rinse it completely of all soap/crud, swish it in 99% rubbing alcohol to displace/mix with the water, disassemble, allow to dry, and then reassemble to protect the blade. The razor doesn't give a shit. But how far you want to take it is up to you. I usually just rinse real good, shake dry, and hang so it gets more airflow than setting on the counter, but next time I get space I'll probably fill an empty container with alcohol. Fuck taking it apart every time.
Yeah, exactly
Don't feel like disassembling every time
@timsandtoms what's your brush?
The problem(aside from just having shit dry on that makes it a pain to clean) is that water is bad for metal. Oxidizes and fucks the edge. It's why people recommend rubbing alcohol for those multiblade abominations, and keeping it in a bag or somewhere that keeps water out. It keeps them working waaay longer.
I have some shit little one from an Art of Shaving sampler.
I see, I'm thinking I'll get the yaqi brush
Pretentious overpriced store that gives bad info, but the soaps/creams are awesome
Art of Shaving is crap.
