Nice
@dogapult if space isnt an issue than the Romoss 20000mah might work, its a literal brick but its held up for about a year for me amd is a couple bucks cheaper than Xiaomis at similar capacities
Mine should arrive soonish
People severely underestimate the size a solar panel would have to be
to charge batteries in proper time
Main advantage is you can just leave it out and itll charge something eventually.
Xiaomi isn't even doing the AI translation themselves, it's outsourced to a third party <:thenk:329322130804047872>
odd
I guess xiaomi just doesn't have the AI chops
Why do all these giant battery banks only have 2 outputs? Seems silly.
yeah seems crazy why don't consumers want to charge a million devices at once
Batteries have a limited amount of amps to give
severely reduces lifespan if too many devices are charged at once
Ah.
reminder to 1) re-check your charge every now and then on power banks, especially ones you dump in a car for emergencies and 2) try not to buy LiPo if you can help it because it will fuck itself up if left in the elements
@dogapult Two is one and one is none
Best capacity per dollar is a car lead-acid battery and a buck converter with however many outputs you want
Hahaha, you're not wrong about that. the output of the electrical system of the car is amazingly low. so I'm just going with the 20kmah
40 ampere-hours at 12V is amazingly low?
The full capacity of a battery
You need 3 outpits, one for phone, one for camera, and the third?
Flashlight, of course.
one for phone, one for camera, one for spare batteries for the other 3 cameras.
I'm not using some old battery for the car, the car just has a generator that only puts out 20amps. and I have a feeling it'll need all of them.
@Woosh RE: underestimating solar panels, it would just be topping up whatever the battery would drain during the ~45 minutes/day 5 days/week that it was charging my phone using a cable that doesn't have data lines to negotiate higher speeds. It would be lit from roughly 5am-11pm 6 days/week, 3 hours less on Sunday. Probably a bit longer than that, the room is on a motion sensor, those are just the hours it's real busy and the lights are always on full.
Why not just use an out of the way outlet to charge a powerbank?
Seems less fun. And then I gotta make sure no one grabs it and I don't forget it
And the only good spot to leave it that also had plugs is the other end of the store, behind customer service, which is generally where I need to avoid if I don't want to get stuck.
It's one of those cases of solving a problem that doesn't really need solving
none of the luminescent CIA variety
>post let me know chinkshit was on the way
>expected delivery: 2nd
>it didn't come
I better get muh chinkshit today
I think chink shit not coming in its specified time is a ground for refund so ask ali directly for a refund and get it and then wait until the chink shit arrives so you can get yopur chink shit for free
dear people dont get refunds from products slightly late (what is probly last-mile problem not their )
partial refund is wise if you actualy paid some postage on it
contact the local post office (who is overencumbered due all the chinkshit packages) and complain there _every time_ they fail to meet the last-mile delivery time
does it really matter
actualy it does
post offices (usualy) have state funding and they need to report every complain/etc
