The fun bit is that, it's tweezers, it SHOULD be simple, but they either have a double bevel that ends up shitty and misaligned, have a rough grind that hairs slip through, or have sharp edges that cut hair.

Nah, if you don't get it aligned right it doesn't work. Either you end up with sharp edges, or the edge doesn't close fully. I'll just shop around and see what comes up.
