Yes, ish. If it's connected. Reads/writes wear drives, so if it's reading or writing it'll wear, but you'd probably still wear out the plug first.
As far as just wearing it out I mean. Probably neither of those will be the issue, probably something will go wrong some other way.

If it's connected odds are good that your computer will be reading something on it occasionally.
Not much, but something. Like I said though, you probably won't ever wear out a drive, something else will fail.

but they say "pls add 1-2cm deviation"
so if i add that "deviation" it comes close to their XXL
