It is, and it is not. I think in the video he explicitly states that it is the best alternative to violence as that is what *used* to decide all things. SO as it is a a substitute for force, it is in essnece force. I see what he is saying.

I'm not going to die on this hill because I don't like semantic arguments, it depends entirely on what dictionary you crack open... But you should be aware that certain definitions of 'force' contain the implication or use of 'violence'. This is true, and part of the argument I had to strike down against the 'taxation = extortion' argument on the UK server, another semantic argument.
So use of speech and the concession to agree to the outcome of a vote is a substitute for what used to happen... two rich dudes with special pointy hats making other people murder each other.
Seems to be a better system, tbh, and replaced most of that nonsense.
