I think global warming is going to burn the fucking earth
Then you aren't paying attention
maybe I'm a bit of a brainwashed zoomer but I give us like 10 years
`Venus_2`
Y’all niggas read desert?
No
Naga there are real ways to care for the environment
Looking into how we grow our food is a good start
there are ways
but will anyone do anything?
10 years ?? lmao
I WISH
I dont think anyone is actaully going to do anything about our dying earth
Electric cars have been around for years and yet nobody has them
You're too young to remmebered the 2012 doomsday people
*I wonder why*
it's almost like money in politics ruins the world
Because they're unfeasible for the average person
I remmeber there being a 2012 doomsday prediction but I dont remember it having anythign to do with global warming or oil or anything.
just "the world gonna end"
Not everyone lives within an hour of where they need to be
I was literally 10
The electric car is made for city people
Not rural types who drive far more and far longer distances
I see electric cars all the time here in Houston, I go outside of it and I don't see a single one. The reason being that people need up to three hours of drive time outside the city.
Also affordability, but why pay the extra cost if they don't work for your needs.
It's a bourgeoisie concept.
*why does it cost so much*
🤔
Gas costs a fuckton because of OPEC being forced by the Saudi’s to maintain a minimum export cost, to eliminate their competition and maximize profit. Look at the war in the Yemen rn, the Iran conflict, and the war with Saddam. That was/is an element in all those conflicts.
Electric costs a lot because the technology is new, and infrastructure supporting electric transport has to catch up on 70 years of state-subsidized infrastructure for fossil fuels consuming transport
Yep its true
Luckily
We just massacred Bolivian natives and couped their government
So lithium batteries will stay cheap
Thanks Monroe
Great idea let's rely more on electricity in the cities where they're already over consuming
Naw chief
It’s the suburbs they are the problem
