yes
Fuck I think I’m dyslexic, I’ve read two of your messages in a scrambled fashion now
the image is for looks is convo 1 and effectiveness of different guns is convo 2
Yea
yeee
Yea verily
Itt: people who know nothing about guns talk as if they do
obviously the conversation neglects handling and logistics its merely reflective of that old adage from the world wars and the argument against battle rifles
Fc knives addition
Couldve just as well posted it in aesthetics tbh
He did
The Corona hurts my ribs
Is this a teeth board now
I want a FG42 with the mag going up in a carry handle and the sights on the top
YOU DONT UNDERSTAND
No
bottom ejection master race with battle rifle and carry handle divinity
8mm Mauser select fire
FG42 why must you cost 5k as a repro you expensive whore
It was hacks in ww2 to use a select fire battle rifle with 4x optic with spring loaded buffer stock on a reciprocating barrel system
Very Controllable battle rifle that can also act as a light machine gun, even stretchable to assault rifle usage with enough training with optic support
Everyone gets hard over the heavy mg42 or the low ROF small caliber stg44
But the FG42
that gets me like diamonds
The best the Americans had was the bar a ww1 design rifle that was used as a LMG despite only having 20 rounds, no pistol grip, and high recoil, that was absurdly heavy
The Brits had nothing comparable nor did the Russians or japs
And what did they learn from the Germans in the west
Fuck all.
They changed squad formations to revolve around machine guns like the Germans but the next standard issue rifle they made was a worse, cheaper, wood, bar but in the furniture of their old rifle and essentially had none of the essential qualities required for anything except a higher capacity rifle from ww2
It wasn’t until over 20 years after did they consider learning from the STG
Then another forty years when they failed with the SCAR H
The British tried after ww2 with a mediocre assault rifle with the EM2 but that got scrapped entirely and then came the FAL Atleast that improved on ergonomics but still was harder to control due to design and had almost nonexistent optic support
