She said most of her sessions weren't like bar or free weights like conditioning and mobility stuff but at least 9-10 sessions a week were weightlifting specifically
SF probably trains 7 days a week with the help of the right drugsTM
9-10 sessions a week?
No 21
🤔
But 9-10 were specifically weightlifting
The most ridiculous are the old bulgarians woth 14 heavy weightlifting specific sessions a week
Nothing below like 75%
Brutal
But they were all on a dangerous amount of steroids
I just do a 4day upper lower split
Their joints must all be shot by now
N calisthenics
Abjiaev (the coach) said the program wasn't working if your knees didn't hurt
If your knees didn't hurt you were bitching out on % loading
Calis on the off days aside from sunday where i do fuckall
@Smart Car Driveby thats awful advice for long term lol
Yes
as the good lord intended
But it makes you olympic champion
That’s more of a job at that point
But being in a field that requires you and it helps to stay in shape is a pretty good motivator
The program wasn't designed for the following:
People without steroids
People who aren't weightlifters
People who don't have 8 hours a day to train and 12 hours to sleep
People who don't have incredible mental drive and don't mind lifting literally the same weight day in and day out for years
Oh yeah no these guys were professional athletes, you literally existed to lift eat do steroids sleep and then go to worlds/olympics and win
Idk if you've maybe heard some people talk about the Bulgarian method or Bulgarian training but it was that
And there's a reason no one does it anymore
just poop
Yea i saw a version of the bulgarian method n decided i like my joints
Legitimately I think maybe only 3 days a week weight training is sufficient for most people especially if overall athleticism is the goal and not strength specific or competiting in strength sports is the goal
I'm not a coach or a pt so Idk but you could excercise every day for sure with 3 weight trainings a week, maybe not every day if you did weights 4 days a week but 4 a week lets you go day on day off which is pretty popular
PPL and cardio is perfectly fine if you just want general fitness
I do my upper lower split tues-wed fri-sat
Time constraints or do you actually like going 2, day off, 2 then 2 days off again
A bit of both
Id my job wasnt so labor intensive id go 5-6 days a week
@Felix post gear
I kinda came here to learn 😅 I own firearms though
aight
pastebins have a fair amount of the faq
