Woke up with numb toes and frozen boots. Zero degree bag didna great job.
Poured boiling water on my boots once I had them on. Felt amazing.

My air pad insulated my from the worst of the snow.

A good airpad is completely indispensable if you're sleeping on the ground in the cold
