woods here are so thick you can't shoot a deer past 100, yet these guys have 7mm mag with 16x scopes

people are usually terrible shots

i dont know that a given police department would have such an individual. even if they were ex-mil they might not know whats on the street here. its not like they'd deal with armored up individuals every day

I don't think there are any swat teams that are just left to their own devices.

all of their swat officers have rifle plates that can more or less stop them

but the vests that they're worried AP pistol ammo can penetrate, can all be slotted by any rifle
