(we can pass over in silence regarding the implicit smuggling in of private property here)

@Katherine they're not being excluded from their own ownership. If they no longer work the MOP then they no longer should control it. Whether or not they choose to is up to the individual to freely decide for themself. Also, in regards to controlling a workplace, consensus ultimately would be the best solution. While as I have said they don't have to work that MOP. They can choose to freely associate with whoever they choose or even own an MOP individually and once they start laboring they have rights to that MOP. If you work in factory A and you don't like how it is being run you can start factory B and run it however you and your fellow workers wish

2017-08-06 04:57:27 UTC

Thanks :)

2017-08-06 04:57:27 UTC

So if you work in factory A, you don't get to decide how it is run

2017-08-06 04:57:43 UTC

You do, everyone participates in consensus equally

2017-08-06 04:58:00 UTC

If you can't do what you want to do with the MoP you are not deciding how to run it

2017-08-06 04:58:03 UTC

You have lost ownership

2017-08-06 04:58:36 UTC

If everyone had consensus there literally would be no need for ownership at all

2017-08-06 04:58:41 UTC

assuming it is completely abortive

2017-08-06 05:01:13 UTC

Um I just wrote a whole thing and it disappeared

2017-08-06 05:01:15 UTC

The fuck

2017-08-06 05:01:17 UTC

Anyway

2017-08-06 05:01:37 UTC

Because it got deleted

2017-08-06 05:02:02 UTC

Die Partei immer recht!

2017-08-06 05:02:13 UTC

As long as you still work the MOP you haven't lost ownership. You haven't lost control because you participated in the consensus equally. @Katherine

2017-08-06 05:02:19 UTC

Direct democracy and accountability are the answers to ownership and some conception of"dictatorship of the majority" or something. The democracy puts people in a position of responsibility. Notice, responsibility, not authority. Accountability keeps those people in check, allowing the democracy to withdraw that person if needed, thanks to transparency. Keeping people in a rotation, as a job requires a person of responsibility, keeps anyone person from gaining or creating power. Democracy doesn't mean authority, you are confusing it with government.

2017-08-06 05:02:34 UTC

^delete this, Politburo

2017-08-06 05:04:03 UTC

What do you mean "participated in consensus"?

2017-08-06 05:04:11 UTC

Consensus is a state of being where everyone agrees

2017-08-06 05:04:14 UTC

It is not a process

2017-08-06 05:04:52 UTC

I'm referring to the process by which you reach consensus, consensus democracy

2017-08-06 05:05:03 UTC

What a joke.

2017-08-06 05:05:25 UTC

All of the worker's opinions would be shared and discussed until consensus could be reached

2017-08-06 05:05:32 UTC

And if it can't?

2017-08-06 05:05:37 UTC

that's the problem

2017-08-06 05:05:39 UTC

what if it can't

2017-08-06 05:05:43 UTC

"they leave"

2017-08-06 05:05:48 UTC

welp, there you go, exclusion.
