and im ok with that

2018-02-15 23:14:25 UTC

So your notion is based entirely on legal status?

2018-02-15 23:14:41 UTC

i.e. if it's technically a state it can't secede?

2018-02-15 23:15:08 UTC

if they share the same rights as the state

2018-02-15 23:15:18 UTC

and they would need permission from the gov

2018-02-15 23:15:32 UTC

winning war is an option

2018-02-15 23:15:32 UTC

Well obviously no government would ever allow that

2018-02-15 23:15:46 UTC

south sudan

2018-02-15 23:16:00 UTC

imagine thinking sudan is a country

2018-02-15 23:16:17 UTC

Fair enough, but it's not as though US politicians will allow it

2018-02-15 23:16:36 UTC

the philipines us to be a territory

2018-02-15 23:16:54 UTC

So?

2018-02-15 23:17:03 UTC

now they arent

2018-02-15 23:17:05 UTC

What's wrong with the south seceding?

2018-02-15 23:17:20 UTC

1 they claimed us territories

2018-02-15 23:17:28 UTC

(even if you dont include the south itself

2018-02-15 23:17:39 UTC

like kentucky which majority wanted to stay

2018-02-15 23:17:55 UTC

They'd probably want to go these days

2018-02-15 23:17:58 UTC

they also did not hold referndum

2018-02-15 23:18:21 UTC

So what? US democracy is representative.

2018-02-15 23:18:43 UTC

so if you want to secede you need support from the peopel

2018-02-15 23:19:00 UTC

otherwise you get a shit country

2018-02-15 23:19:01 UTC

Well they voted in candidates who were pro-secession

2018-02-15 23:19:17 UTC

not really secession happened quite fast

2018-02-15 23:19:32 UTC

and most people were drafted into the rebel army

2018-02-15 23:19:39 UTC

Anti-northern sentiment existed for some time

2018-02-15 23:19:55 UTC

there is anti english sentiment

2018-02-15 23:20:00 UTC

The north drafted people too mate, both sides were just desparate for soldiers

2018-02-15 23:20:00 UTC

should scotland secede

2018-02-15 23:20:22 UTC

Well they voted didn't they?

2018-02-15 23:20:29 UTC

the southerners didnt

2018-02-15 23:20:35 UTC

besides they had slaves

2018-02-15 23:20:41 UTC

there could be no fair democracy

2018-02-15 23:21:12 UTC

lol so basically all democracy prior to blacks having the vote was unfair, and every election was illegitimate.

2018-02-15 23:21:18 UTC

yes

2018-02-15 23:21:27 UTC

OK so the US is illegitimate

2018-02-15 23:21:39 UTC

Anyone know of any pedophile hunting discord’s?

2018-02-15 23:22:04 UTC

we didnt secede for slavery

2018-02-15 23:22:17 UTC

we seceded over tea lol

2018-02-15 23:22:59 UTC

We're nitpicking now. The US had a hundred years of elections where blacks didn't have the vote.
The US seceded so wealthy people i.e. not slaves could pay lower taxes. The slaves never voted on that.
