libertarianism always wins

2018-06-30 00:43:15 UTC

Because its hard to get organized

2018-06-30 00:43:20 UTC

hsitory wasnt on our side

2018-06-30 00:43:27 UTC

lets look at this anarchist cracker debate a reactionary again

2018-06-30 00:43:28 UTC

But the ideology survived to now

2018-06-30 00:43:28 UTC

LOL!

2018-06-30 00:43:33 UTC

Won’t an anarchist society always naturally develop some sort of market

2018-06-30 00:43:45 UTC

Markets are different than capitalism

2018-06-30 00:43:49 UTC

gift economy may prevail

2018-06-30 00:43:51 UTC

anarchists will get subjugated by strongmen

2018-06-30 00:44:04 UTC

There is a voting structure and of course militia men

2018-06-30 00:44:20 UTC

Federation politics assist unifcation

2018-06-30 00:44:26 UTC

trading occurs on the commune level

2018-06-30 00:44:27 UTC

But it’s an unregulated marketplace so wouldn’t that be a form of capitalism

2018-06-30 00:44:41 UTC

Gift economy presupposes no currency

2018-06-30 00:45:02 UTC

Wouldn’t a currency system begin to develop naturally as well

2018-06-30 00:45:09 UTC

Why would it?

2018-06-30 00:45:23 UTC

Bartering, Gift Economy, and Communal Living make it a non factor

2018-06-30 00:45:26 UTC

To make trade easier and to give things value

2018-06-30 00:45:40 UTC

No reason to give things value when the commune works together

2018-06-30 00:45:46 UTC

Value is purely subjective

2018-06-30 00:46:14 UTC

Trade necessitates on Marx's axiom "to each according to their need, from each according to their ability"

2018-06-30 00:46:18 UTC

So 100% of the commune would do equal amounts of work

2018-06-30 00:46:33 UTC

And the value of their work would be the same regardless of the job

2018-06-30 00:46:34 UTC

No, just what needs to be done or what one wants to do

2018-06-30 00:46:48 UTC

They wouldn't recieve anything

2018-06-30 00:47:32 UTC

They would work in a syndicate doing whatever they wanted to do, live in a home they have either built or occupied; communally or alone

2018-06-30 00:47:48 UTC

So like a capitalist system

2018-06-30 00:48:19 UTC

No in a capitalist system you have to work for money, in an anarchist system you work for whatever you want

2018-06-30 00:48:32 UTC

Without a state, you are ultimately responsible for yourself

2018-06-30 00:48:44 UTC

But it is hopeful that you would want to help the community around you

2018-06-30 00:48:53 UTC

Teaching would be ad hoc

2018-06-30 00:49:07 UTC

So instead if earning money to buy a house someone else already built and making it my own, instead I am forced to build the house myself

2018-06-30 00:50:04 UTC

Or live in communal housing or work with a group of people and form your own residential syndicate and build a place or find a commune with room

2018-06-30 00:50:14 UTC

There are ways to not build the house yourself

2018-06-30 00:50:25 UTC

It simply requires utilizing the community

2018-06-30 00:50:46 UTC

Yes but for the most part if I want my own property I have to create it all myself

2018-06-30 00:52:56 UTC

Not really, getting to specific on the anarchist day-to-day can be tricky as I only can speak for my own perspective and not anarchists as a whole, but I enjoy the idea that a syndicate can be formed to build homes for the commune and the members of that syndicate volunteer, are rewarded with benefits by the commune (as decided by the commune via democratic vote), and are skilled and proficient.

2018-06-30 00:53:21 UTC

Like I said though these specifics will always be debatable until full realization

2018-06-30 00:53:29 UTC

Well of course

2018-06-30 00:54:02 UTC

Creating an anarchist society would require everybody to act in a way that benefits the entire commune
