The question is if palestine would be any better. And clearly not with all the terrorism. Before Americans, native tribes kept killing eachother. Imperialism has some exceptions. It would depend on the state of the area and the state of the government that takes control and the previous government. And of course most importantly the people. From what I can tell the Israeli government wants to keep civilian deaths a minimum. Unlike Americans and natives.

Since it obviously didnt benefit most of the natives and only the very lucky ones survived. A huge part of that was due to disease of course though. Still a horrible life.
