people willfully give him their money
blame them for making him rich
Not necessarily, people don’t choose to be flooded with advertisements all the time
Facebook has declined in relative marketshare a lot over the last few years.
It's peaked out and is set to be overtaken
blame the people still, the only reason the advertisers are there are because people use the app
so dont blame the ceo
there are many other people you should be blaming
it's the enablers, not the man benefitting from them
it may be immoral, but that's how it is
He could still do with pocketing less of it and increase wages or put more money into better working conditions
well people wouldnt work for him if he didnt
so obviously he needs to balance out the funds
It’s not *entirely* his fault, and mostly falls on the system at hand,
yes he just benefits
But he still does have a large amount of money just sitting around that he could be doing a lot of shit with
well yeah of course i agree he shouldn't be pocketing money that could possibly go towards improving the company
exactly how much of that he is doing would be a hard number to calculate
but it's wrong
Not necessarily limited to the company, he could donate more to charity or something
"i donated 500k to charity"
thats like .01% of what you earn
lol
Ikr
that pisses me off
That’s half of what you carry around in your fucking wallet every day
lmao
Celebrities are worse with that sort of virtue signalling, CEOs don't do it too often
And when they do, it's usually Bill Gates type CEOs who actually donate a sizable portion of what they earn.
guys please help me
i have read a lot of nrx blogs but i dont even know what it is still
If I was sitting on the impossibly large stack of money that guy is sitting on, I would be a little more fucking modest/humble with it
Maybe fund a few Red Cross missions across the world
at the end of the day though, it is their decision to not donate the money, although we as a society should frown on them for doing it and encourage they donate
Donate 60 bucks to the homeless folks I pass on the street every day, start a charity
We should do that whole capitalism exists
That's hard though Brick, it's hard to talk about other people donating more without sounding either preachy or like a sour, jealous man.
Once it falls we use that wealth to do that shit during the transition from currency to a lack thereof
I think charity loses its moral value if it is extorted and shamed.
*extorted and shamed out of people.
Moral value doesn’t even matter at this point, these people are beyond moral values
