the USA being "defeated" by the Vietnamese wasn't that bad compared to other countries, they actually managed to defeat the Viet Cong and force the PPA at least. They politically refused to fight another conflict in 1973, so in the long run the psychological victory was Vietnames,e but coutnries like France literally got ran out of Vietnam
