I've not gotten to Bongrippers stuff yet. I've been going through the essentials. Just discovered Doom Metal this year. I've listened to Om, Sleep, High on Fire, Sleep, Electric Wizard, Eyehategod, Candlemass, and Black Sabbath(ofc) mostly.

Om is a good one.

Bongripper are one of the most eclectic Doom Metal groups out there. And their Album Heroin is... well probably the most experiemental Doom Metal has gotten. It was supposed to replicate the feel of a heroin overdose.

Anyways, I'd say Electric Wizard's first three albums were good. Their later stuff is a little meh though.

Wizard Bloody Wizard is probably their best new album and it's 6 out of 10 at best.

I have and it's pretty good. I'm just saying for that big, epic, and doomy feeling their first works were their best.

I just feel like they haven't managed to recapture that.
