its a common thing for powerful jews to change their names to gentile names that are common in the host country they are now going to live in .for example when the warner brothers arrived in hollywood california they changed their jewish names to more american names .so the host population would have a harder time finding out if they were jewish and so they can blend in with the host population like a chemelion its kinda like that twitter jewish meme "hello fellow white people" the bolshevik leaders changed their jewish names to russian names for this same reason
