Sounds like a good routine
I go hiking a lot so I have to have good mobility strength
Like backpack hiking with 30-50lbs of kit
Make sure you are doing progressive overload on weights, very important to build mass
Idk what that is
Noice that's good fat burning right there
Exactly
Basically just progressively adding more and more
Gotcha
Like you should be adding just a little.more weight each time helps build muscle and assure your body isn't getting used to the weight
Got it
Typically do 2 miles treadmill + 5mins stairs + 20 mins weights
Does that sound right
Sounds pretty good, if you wanna put on more muscle I'd hit the weights it more
Gotcha
Could do 1 mi running and 30 -40 mins weights or something
I lift weights for about an hour then run a mile in a half on cardio days and do 30 min abs with my lifting on non cardio days
Gotcha
My abs are crazy strong
I worked on cars professionally without a lift, on a creeper, for like a year
Fucking do a half cruch for 40 minutes at a time while working
Lol
Also good upper body/back from working on the ground on my back. Having to work with my arms raised in the air above my head basically bench pressing cars n shit
But I wanna get rid of this tummy fat that came with that
Ya, belly fat is hard, can't really spot lose it, gotta just cut till it's gone
I mean I don't need to have a shreddy 6 pack but I also wanna be a fucking cave man so
Oof my bench sucks
Out her rowing more than I bench
Running helps a little with the stomach
True cardio and calisthenics
So need some advice from the swolefather. I let myself go for the last 2 years, and I decided this easy the year to try to fix it all. I stopped smoking and think I have been off the sauce long enough to consider working out with out having to worry about stress eating. Gym is out of the question right now cause I’m poor as fuck, but I started changing my diet and drinking more water ( I try to drink around 2 L a day) I’m currently doing 30 pushups start from a regular push-up then when I can’t get up I drop to my knees. I’m doing 30 sit-ups as well I start to struggle around the 28 mark. I know I need to start running, but I’m scared to because I’m prone to stress fractures and that ended my military career. Anybody got any advice/ ideas or suggestions on how to improve or replace running?
@Existance is pain just work your way up slowly to long runs, it's a marathon not a sprint
Yee look into calasinics there are tons of body weight exercises you can do
I’ll check it out thinking about buying a set weights
It's a good investment
I'm building my own home gym got my squat rack and bench
Need dumbells punching bag and atlas stone mext
And more weights
Maybe ruck for the cardio but dont ruck run
So today I managed to only smoke a pack and have only had one soft drink
