we prefer the term Jewicorns
Hi, new here. Chilean too. Just came here to see if there was talk of Chile. I suspected so, given the current situation. Feel I need to correct mr chilean jew here on a point.
Immigration has not made much of an impact on healthcare or employment. State healthcare and other State provided services did not collapse from immigration, they have always been in that state, since I have memory (I am 32 years old). Waiting lists for lots of procedures (basically for anything more complex than the simplest of things) have always existed (private health providers have never had that problem). This has not changed or really worsened much after increased immigration. Same can be said for other State services like the National Registry (Registro Civil), public transport (that one has progressively gotten worse and especially upon the implementation of the really bad Transantiago system) etc. No noticeable big change in those trends with the increased immigration.

On the side of employment, lots of conservatives seem to have forgotten all of their talking points they used against Bachelet's labour and tax reforms. She imposed a very pro-union labour reform that has had a very big effect on employment, namely increasing unemployment. She also made several big changes to the tax code that in essence steeply increased corporate taxes. She also imposed new taxes, like a VAT on housing. Both reforms were opposed at the time arguing that they would increase unemployment and reduce investment (which would in turn further increase unemployment). And that's exactly what has happened. Immigration has likely made labour costs to be a bit lower than it would have been otherwise, but it has not had any big effect. And it's obvious that any effect from immigration would be minuscule in comparison to that of labour, tax and other related reforms imposed in the last decade or so by Bachelet (and expanded upon by Piñera).
So no, immigration has not had that noticeable of an effect. What has had such an effect are the very bad lefty reforms imposed here since Bachelet's first term and especially since her second term. That's undeniable. Weird that some people like to deny that fact and blame it all on immigration, when socialism is the real problem here.
True that, regarding Bachelet policies ,
problem being no one car argue with data anynore
we live in a postmodern post truth state , where the feeling of the vocal minority sound louder than facts
The year is 2028. CCP has announced that Japan is a part of the Great China. According the history, Japanese people came from the Great China, meaning that they are a part of the Great China.
