I think in their minds anything that is wholesome = fascism, like their idea is that everything in the past is automatically bad, all marraige is bad, everything is patriarchy and whatnot, and so as their only idea is deconstruction, and all things in the past is bad, it must be that it's fascism. That's why libeterian ideas or the constitution is fascism, that's why the 2nd amendment or freedom of speech is fascism etc.

Like an ideology that thinks success is automatically bad, that being rich or middle class is bad and poverty is an inherent moral virtue, will not surprisingly lead to everyone being poor. They incorrectly assume everything bad is from other people, or oppressions, and thus the solution is to destroy everything, "tear down patriarchy, tear down capitalism!" etc. rather than build anything up and create a new society. It's ultimately a destructive ideology designed to make us all revert back to being tribal people, industrializaiton is bad, capitalism is bad etc., live like tribal people according to marx, and therefore it can only destroy

Thus all things in the past, even if good, are now bad, and so we must destroy it. Hence it makes sense in their viewpoint that traditionalism in any way = fascism even if it's otherwise good xD

Yeah it's sad they really think the nuclear family is somehow automatically bad and must be removed. The ultimate goal for those in charge is problably control, but the ideologues see the past as just being bad
