Just think about it. If you have a trench knife or something similar, purpose designed for stabbing humans. You can just walk around jabbing people and walking away without anyone noticing. You could hit a hand full of people before people start noticing and panicking.

Yea, there's def a big problem with Islam, which is why you need to validate the moderates even more. It gives the extremists a valid road to go down, without going against scripture or w/e.
You could always try to convert them to Christianity or even Athiesm, but that would probably just radicalize them even more.
I think i've heard at least one IMAN that mentioned there is no moderate islam, not in a islamophobic, but in the fact that most islamist don't consider moderates true muslims
