Freud would have a few things to add to this.
Chicken or egg, what came first?
1) I got addicted to porn, and the logical conclusion to my addiction was a personality change that would make me see people as body parts
2) I saw people as body parts, so the logical conclusion to my personality was to get addicted to porn
Occam's razor says 2 is more likely because it requires fewer assumptions.
100 bucks says after dropping porn from his daily consumption he'll develop another addiction similar to his porn addiction (if he doesn't already have a similar addiction). His personality clearly tends towards that.
But hey it's 2019, these days we don't blame ourselves for our own faults anymore, instead we blame everything else around us. So much easier and more comforting.
