100 bucks says after dropping porn from his daily consumption he'll develop another addiction similar to his porn addiction (if he doesn't already have a similar addiction). His personality clearly tends towards that.
But hey it's 2019, these days we don't blame ourselves for our own faults anymore, instead we blame everything else around us. So much easier and more comforting.

Someone could argue that you clearly aren't all there if porn makes you see actual non-porn people as objects when there's a very clear difference between the two. Or even that you see people less like people to love because you jack off to porn and thus your decisions aren't guided by your libido.

Surgeons practice with objects for most of their student lives, and then they perform on living people. Do they lose touch with their own humanity because of their mechanical approach to the human body?
Therefore, if the porn alarmists are right, then shouldn't surgeons be looked at as the most twisted people on earth? And yet, we trust them to save us from death. In fact they save many, many lives every day.
So perhaps it's not the activity itself that harms us, but maybe the way we do it, or - radical idea - maybe there is no harm and we just are who we are.

That's not a troll, this is a real thing. A lot of women have the fantasy of getting raped. Most don't want the *experience* of *actually* getting raped obviously.

idk I think it's an adaptive thing. During a time whenmany men used to get away with rape, it was kinda beneficial to have a psychological adaptation for dealing with it.
From the modern day lense it seems nuts, but who knows what was going on in people's heads many thousands of years ago.
