Tuscan became the basis for modern Italian because of Florence
The Florin was one of Europe's most stable currencies used by several foreign governments

I wish more D&D campaigns took place in an Italy like setting of rival city states, republics and princedoms hiring adventurers and mercenaries for fat loot and fame
@Digital_Style do it faggot
@SideTracker there's a module for that
City-states are way underrated for campaign structures
I beheaded a random necromancer last time because he wouldn't let me keep his blanket
Last time the party wouldn’t let me eat a child. :c
:hellmo:
Also the dynamic of having to weigh contract offers from different rival governments for the same job but at the possible hit of reputation with the oposite faction is a good way of creating dynamic roleplay and story
@Digital_Style how u sget :hellmo:
@SideTracker Factional things like that tend to be guilds, in many dnd games
It's from my super secret emoji nitro server
