@Gromp all belief, traditions, thought, etc relies on socially developed axioms. You don't exist in a philosophical or intellectual vacuum. Everything even down to language itself carries metaphysical baggage. What you are doing by denying X religion is propping up another tradition while assuming it's not a tradition.

Well I believe our conciousness is heavily dependent on the material, but there is an "uncaused" factor that is free will.

@Joywolf You aren't not required to. It is completely voluntarily. But as you said you assumed he exists, therefore logically there is no reason *not* to because not worshipping means eternal loss and pain, worshipping means infinite gain and happiness.

@Joywolf I don't see how it follows that believing in his existence entails that following him will be necessarily pleasurable for you, gaining happiness or lacking pain. If anything you could argue it just makes you a bitch who can only follow and not lead.
