We must assimilate them

2019-08-22 00:51:55 UTC

However it's if a foreigner resides among you

2019-08-22 00:52:04 UTC

We must prevent them from being here in the first place

2019-08-22 00:52:12 UTC

But if they are already here let us assimilate them

2019-08-22 02:29:34 UTC

@Maksim Old Testament doesn’t apply to Christians

2019-08-22 02:29:45 UTC

@Sandaledfungus4 Old Testament only applies to Jews

2019-08-22 02:30:11 UTC

Then why do Christians still follow the ten commandments?

2019-08-22 02:30:25 UTC

I don’t. Those aren’t meant for us those are for Jews

2019-08-22 02:30:41 UTC

Idk lots of Christians do

2019-08-22 02:30:53 UTC

Those laws only apply to Jews

2019-08-22 02:30:59 UTC

Pretty sure Christians follow both while Jews only follow the old one

2019-08-22 02:31:20 UTC

Old Testament is irrelevant when you accept Christ as your lord and savior

2019-08-22 02:31:31 UTC

All those laws don’t apply

2019-08-22 02:33:18 UTC

**Psalm 127:2 - Good News Translation (GNT)**

```Dust
<2> It is useless to work so hard for a living, getting up early and going to bed late. For the Lord provides for those he loves, while they are asleep. ```
Based
2019-08-22 06:43:59 UTC
I think that’s more about stress
2019-08-22 06:44:19 UTC
Why stress and work yourself to death for material things
2019-08-22 07:05:30 UTC
@Deleted User old testament still applies
2019-08-22 07:05:33 UTC
some laws dont anymore
2019-08-22 07:05:35 UTC
2019-08-22 07:05:58 UTC
2019-08-22 07:06:17 UTC
the new testament states its the reason why god destroyed cities and that its unnatural
Matthew 5:17 NIV
2019-08-22 07:07:25 UTC
Leviticus 19:33-34
2019-08-22 12:12:25 UTC
**Leviticus 19:33-34 - King James Version (KJV)**
```Dust

<33> And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him. <34> But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God. ```

2019-08-22 12:14:03 UTC

Sojourn is meant as a temporary stay, the hebrew word means the same and it is translated properly here in the KJV. The idea is that as the Israelites were travelling to their promised land that they had to ask many nations to allow them to sojourn in their land in order to get where they needed. @Sandaledfungus4

2019-08-22 12:25:32 UTC

@everyone Daily Question 🔖

- What's the ultimate goal a government should strive for and why? How would they achieve this goal?

2019-08-23 23:10:52 UTC

Didn’t someone ask this before?

2019-08-23 23:11:11 UTC

@Maksim the ultimate goal of government ought to be to work itself out of a job.

2019-08-23 23:11:15 UTC

To subsidize my tendies addiction, this should be achieved by taking everyone else's tendies and giving them to me.
