Other Companies such as In-N-Out and Chick-fil-A are also great example of owners treating employees very *very* well

2019-09-11 23:09:13 UTC

Ford Motor Company under the founder Henry Ford as well

2019-09-11 23:09:21 UTC

Even Janitor's and Part-Time employees receive 401k plans, paid sick and vacation leave, dental and medical insurance

2019-09-11 23:10:14 UTC

Better treated employees are more productive

2019-09-11 23:10:25 UTC

And will stay with the company for longer

2019-09-11 23:10:31 UTC

The problem with Unions is that the owners and workers interests are at odds. ESOP solves that problem

2019-09-11 23:10:45 UTC

The two become one

2019-09-11 23:10:50 UTC

Sure

2019-09-11 23:11:02 UTC

I think Labor Unions would be better if it was 100% democratic

2019-09-11 23:11:04 UTC

i.e no "owner"

2019-09-11 23:11:15 UTC

Each decision is voted on by all members

2019-09-11 23:11:45 UTC

Anyways ive gtg

2019-09-11 23:12:22 UTC

As far as I’m concerned labor unions are a useful balance to the company in order to prevent abuse by employers if it occurs.

2019-09-11 23:14:06 UTC

I strongly prefer unions with a council and charter over a single leader union however.

2019-09-11 23:14:34 UTC

That makes sure the *unions* are kept in check by the employees.

2019-09-11 23:16:56 UTC

this was a pretty great system imo
its a shame that the war prevented completion of many projects

2019-09-11 23:19:09 UTC

@Deleted User They only existed because they unironically killed all the other unions.

2019-09-11 23:25:22 UTC

yeh and they did a better job @DrRisen

2019-09-11 23:25:45 UTC

@Deleted User better for some, worse for others.

2019-09-11 23:26:22 UTC

worse for the jew and the businessmen better for the german worker

2019-09-11 23:26:44 UTC

@Deleted User Don’t play dumb, you know what I was saying.

2019-09-11 23:27:16 UTC

no i really dont @DrRisen

2019-09-11 23:28:44 UTC

Better for some workers, worse for others. I’m sure the white German fascist was very well represented by the union. I don’t think the same can be said for a socialist, or a Jew, or a Slavic, or a black.

2019-09-11 23:28:51 UTC
2019-09-11 23:31:34 UTC

i see no issue with precluding socialists and foreigners from business
as far as i can tell most slavs within germany were considered aryan so idk what youre talking about in regards to them and as for blacks, im sure all 5 of them were very unhappy

2019-09-11 23:33:40 UTC

@Deleted User That doesn’t deny the fact that it was better for some and worse for others. You thinking that is a good thing is irrelevant, because it *is* a thing.

2019-09-11 23:34:44 UTC

ok
so what issue did you take with me describing it as ''worse for the jew and the businessmen better for the german worker''

2019-09-11 23:35:51 UTC

you basically just repeated it back to me but added slavs and blacks

2019-09-11 23:35:54 UTC

That wasn’t what I took issue with.

2019-09-11 23:36:04 UTC

What I took issue with was you saying it was better.

2019-09-11 23:36:33 UTC

It wasn’t. It was better for the people you liked. For many other normal workers it was worse than no union at all.

2019-09-11 23:38:55 UTC

it was better
the unions of the Weimar republic were corrupt and controlled
''other normal''
oxymoron tbh
i would disagree with many
do you realise how white germany was?

2019-09-11 23:39:01 UTC
2019-09-11 23:39:52 UTC

Do you realize how many non-ethnically-german whites there are? @Deleted User

2019-09-11 23:40:09 UTC

Take the Polish for instance.

2019-09-11 23:40:39 UTC

prove that the polish were discriminated against in germany by the DAF

2019-09-11 23:41:15 UTC

this is new to me tbh

2019-09-11 23:43:10 UTC

*cough cough forced labor*

2019-09-11 23:44:11 UTC

how was the DAF responsible for the forced labour during ww2? @DrRisen

2019-09-11 23:44:21 UTC

youre reaching hard bro
