How will the world have more tech? Because there’s billions more people contributing and working together vs like 300 million anglos.

2019-10-21 15:03:17 UTC

More money, scientists, and everything needed for tech advancement.

2019-10-21 15:03:35 UTC

lmao
billions of slavs, africans and chinks?

2019-10-21 15:04:28 UTC

britain has historically been the origin of a huge amount of modern science and there is no reason to suspect that it cant be again

2019-10-21 15:04:45 UTC

Sound just like the germans thinking no Soviet tank could go up against a panzer

2019-10-21 15:05:02 UTC

lmao

2019-10-21 15:05:10 UTC

The middle east, Mediterranean, east asia have been as well no reason they can’t either

2019-10-21 15:05:41 UTC

“Ohh but they’re not white so they’ll obv fail lol”

2019-10-21 15:06:02 UTC

those soviet tanks were built by american dollars, the germans didnt even think they would join

2019-10-21 15:06:30 UTC

Those tens of thousands of tanks built before america even joined the war?

2019-10-21 15:06:38 UTC

lmao

2019-10-21 15:06:43 UTC

Including the t34?

2019-10-21 15:06:47 UTC

historically illiterate

2019-10-21 15:06:53 UTC

not the designs nigga

2019-10-21 15:06:59 UTC

the resources

2019-10-21 15:07:28 UTC

You’re saying the Americans paid for the resources to build the tanks?

2019-10-21 15:07:33 UTC

the soviets would have literally been unable to equip their army without lend lease

2019-10-21 15:07:49 UTC

In a few key areas yes

2019-10-21 15:08:25 UTC

the soviets would have lost the war if america did not enter

2019-10-21 15:09:16 UTC

not because they were tech illiterate but because they did not have the resources to beat germany on their own

2019-10-21 15:10:09 UTC

Probably not. The effect of lend lease was limited due to the fact that transportation of those supplies was relegated to train(and they had to actively build more tracks) as well as the fact that the Soviets didn't have many convienent ports that could then be used to move those supplies

2019-10-21 15:10:22 UTC

lmao

2019-10-21 15:10:28 UTC

thats absolute cope

2019-10-21 15:10:42 UTC

Trucks were unreliable due to the fact that the soviets had shit infrustricture

2019-10-21 15:11:03 UTC

Literally the soviet infrastructure was almost none

2019-10-21 15:11:10 UTC

Looks like the americans didn’t bother bringing most of their id till the germans we’re effectively stalemated. But I will say again what resources america did provide in 1941-2 were vital things such as high-octane fuel and trucks.

2019-10-21 15:11:37 UTC

What’s absolute cope is you thinking the germans couldn’t possibly have lost the war to the soviets without the entire world supporting the ussr

2019-10-21 15:11:40 UTC

I can see the high octane fhel

2019-10-21 15:11:44 UTC

Fuel

2019-10-21 15:12:27 UTC

no germans could have''possibly lost the war'' but they would have definitely beat the soviet union

2019-10-21 15:13:46 UTC

anyway
we have yet to see how striving for autarky has a causal realtionship with stunting a nation in any meaningful way

2019-10-21 15:17:49 UTC

Actual cope addict

2019-10-21 15:18:22 UTC

and yeah im just realising now that the germans definitely weren't about to defeat the soviet union and thats why the united states decided to fund them with massive amounts of resources despite being assured of their victory

2019-10-21 15:19:04 UTC

lmao

2019-10-21 15:19:10 UTC

even stalin agrees

2019-10-21 15:19:11 UTC

Joseph Stalin, during the Tehran Conference during 1943, acknowledged publicly the importance of American efforts during a dinner at the conference: "Without American machines the United Nations could never have won the war."[45][46]

In a confidential interview with the wartime correspondent Konstantin Simonov, the Soviet Marshal Georgy Zhukov is quoted as saying:

Today [1963] some say the Allies didn't really help us ... But listen, one cannot deny that the Americans shipped over to us material without which we could not have equipped our armies held in reserve or been able to continue the war.[47]

2019-10-21 15:19:24 UTC

Just like how it was obvious the germans were about to destroy the royal navy and invade Britain after 1940 so they give Britain a bunch of aid as well

2019-10-21 15:19:43 UTC

And the fúcking stalin quote
