Signs =/= Constellations

Signs are portions of the sky divided, *named after the constellations*

Western Astrology was not developed to be a sidereal system, and that is precisely why the signs were devised; people were aware that the fixed stars were not entirely fixed.

And tbqh I feel more inclined to utilize a system of astrology developed and maintained in use by people who became the most proficient astrologers, and thus astronomers, known to the rest of the world.

Afaik, there are two different methods for deriving Houses within Western astrology, which are the most prominent: Whole Sign and Placidus.

Virtually everyone has a House system, including the Indians and the Chinese.

And tbqh every system of astrology generally has the same *outline*, they just have different orientations or controls.
