REEEE
because Western astrology is a fucking joke
Is where the planets are in accordance to the astral signs and yes a western thing 🤠yeeehaa
Western, yikes
So, no, not in relation to the signs
It changes through out the day
in addition to the signs +26 Degrees about
So if you are working with Mars the idea is you look for Mars hour
Oh, just planetary hours
those should be fine
Yes
I found this calculator on line that gives the planetary hour for your specific city.
I love it
Because I don’t like doing math
Yes
Only issue I have is with the western Signs
What do you practice?
they are off by 24 degrees, give or take a few degrees
I'm learning Vedic now
because like, Astrology is specifically the stars, and Western doesn't line up with the actual stars
Oh nice, I follow the 8 limbs of yoga
and I've always used whole signs
not only is whole signs more accurate, but the system was devised around it
like, the astrology wheel
Babylonian math
To me signs are just a guide any way you put it.
So, Whole Signs Sidereal is the most empirically valid
Only those that are lost need signs
I'm into traditional western astrology, but I'm interested in getting some tips of the vedic one @Departure
The aspects usually stays the same at least
Also use whole signs for tropical astrology
I already do use whole signs for it
it's how Astrology as a system was developed
whole signs is the only valid house system mathematically
@exoMoon Western zodiac is 24 Degrees off from where the stars actually are
Care to have a look on mine? You don't need to read just tell me the names of what I have to google. I get confused with the different names
Signs =/= Constellations
Signs are portions of the sky divided, *named after the constellations*
Western Astrology was not developed to be a sidereal system, and that is precisely why the signs were devised; people were aware that the fixed stars were not entirely fixed.
And tbqh I feel more inclined to utilize a system of astrology developed and maintained in use by people who became the most proficient astrologers, and thus astronomers, known to the rest of the world.
