i just got off of a tour near my condo

and I saw a blue snake on the ground

I thought somebody dropped a rubber snake down, i nudged it with my flip flop just to make sure

and it lashed out at me, not wanting to bite but it did headbutt my foot

Huh. Lucky you weren't bit

i thiiiiink it was a bluestripe garter which isnt venomous

i saw the same fucking snake slithering into a bush

In terms of snakes in Florida you have to worry about quite the few
Rattlesnakes, Copperheads, Cottonmouths aka Water Moccasins, Coral Snakes
And a few more i can't think of

i thought rattlers were a west thing

They're in the East

Eastern Diamondback, Timber, Pygmy, just to name a few

reminds me of a saying involving one type of snake
