Italy is a prime example of the nationalist sweep across Europe and the EU as a whole

2019-01-29 18:23:28 UTC

Maybe you two should look up and show election results and demonstrate which is correct

2019-01-29 18:24:07 UTC

2019-01-29 18:24:08 UTC

i have given him multiple events in which right wing parties have burs-ted on to the political map

2019-01-29 18:24:58 UTC

I have. As I’ve stated, Italy and Greece subvert this narrative and French and German polling don’t show the far right exerting enough pressure to form govt

2019-01-29 18:25:32 UTC

There may be an upset, but there’s no reason to believe that out of hand

2019-01-29 18:25:44 UTC

No what you did was use Greece and Spain as examples of two nations with left wing governments which does nothing to refute my argument of right wing parties sweeping europe

2019-01-29 18:26:40 UTC

its not a small shift in one nation or region this is a mass realignment of political believes and a reclaim of national sovereignty and tradition

2019-01-29 18:27:45 UTC

hear hear

2019-01-29 18:27:59 UTC

again your basing your entire argument off of polling in two countries where the media is against right wing movements all together

2019-01-29 18:28:03 UTC

how is that reliable information>

2019-01-29 18:28:09 UTC

Italy
Govt formed by m5 (five star) in yellow: left leaning populist
La Lega in green: right leaning regionalist

2019-01-29 18:29:16 UTC

and this proves my point again. You talked about economies well Italy has the fourth largest in the EU and is seeing a massive rise in nationalist/anti establishment parties

2019-01-29 18:29:31 UTC

five star and the league are just two examples of this

2019-01-29 18:30:23 UTC

also The League has over 60% approval dont believe me?its all there in the national and local elections of the past decade

2019-01-29 18:30:53 UTC

Portugal
Govt formed by ps in pink: social democrats
Independent in grey

2019-01-29 18:31:25 UTC

again your using one nations government as an attempt to deflect my argument when all it does is strength it

2019-01-29 18:31:57 UTC

by showing only governments which large opposition or left wing governments you are showing a clear bias to which side your preferring over the other

2019-01-29 18:32:25 UTC

you have done nothing but reinforce my points this entire time

2019-01-29 18:33:55 UTC

I’ve shown fucking five different nations at this point. Austria has a right leaning Eurosceptic, Germany is either going to remain moderate liberal conservatives or go to the socialist parties and France doesn’t have an election until 2022

2019-01-29 18:34:10 UTC

right wing parties specially nationalists are rising across Europe i never stated that they where holding all seats and government in these countries but the argument your trying to make is one that would be to dispute that claim and since i never made that claim your argument holds not weight

2019-01-29 18:34:33 UTC

i have also provided you with information of right wing parties rising in popularity

2019-01-29 18:34:49 UTC

you still have not debunked my argument you have only made it stronger

2019-01-29 18:35:52 UTC

Fun fact liberalism and left wing parties are in the decline in Germany and Macron in my opinion will not preform well in the EU elections in may Le Pen will out shine him

2019-01-29 18:36:22 UTC

Your assetion that “ThE LeFT iS ColLaPsinG” ignores that m5 is a fucking left leaning party and “the left” and Euroscepticsm are not mutually exclusive. Even so, m5 has pussy footed around the eu to a huge degree

2019-01-29 18:36:25 UTC

France may have elections sooner then 2022 and Germany may have new elections soon as well we will just have to see

2019-01-29 18:36:59 UTC

i never stated the left was in absolute decline and had no strong position your own posts say as much

2019-01-29 18:37:14 UTC

Mate, actually provide some data and we can continue this but atm your just autistically screeching

2019-01-29 18:37:55 UTC

i stated left and center parties are in the decline as a generalization across the block not in every single country. This argument stems from the increase in right wing party support and over preforming in elections

2019-01-29 18:38:28 UTC

So is m5 a right wing party yes or no

2019-01-29 18:38:29 UTC

i have multiple times stated numbers and made solid arguments backed up with evidence

2019-01-29 18:38:41 UTC

five star you mean?

2019-01-29 18:38:58 UTC

i am simply discussing a serious topic and your resulting to childish attacks

2019-01-29 18:39:21 UTC

i have no issue with debating you but cutting the sarcasm and attacks would help greatly

2019-01-29 18:40:15 UTC

Yes. Five star is left leaning. Certainly more left leaning then centre right party that preceded it

2019-01-29 18:40:52 UTC

How do you get from this an increase in right wing support?

2019-01-29 18:40:55 UTC

five star is anti establishment which is why they resonated so well with the people because the people in Italy are sick of the established elites in Brussels

2019-01-29 18:41:17 UTC

I agree! Would you say they’re *radical* even?

2019-01-29 18:42:14 UTC

i will state as many times as i need to do so. My original argument was right wing parties are on the rise across the EU i never did say however they where dominating everywhere and had an absolute grip on power you assumed that was my argument and still are doing so now.

2019-01-29 18:42:19 UTC

So while they’re election wouldn’t support the narrative “tHe LeFt is IN DeCline” it *would* support that European politics is becoming more radicalised?

2019-01-29 18:42:54 UTC

I also stated centrist parties across the EU where in decline but never did i say or claim they had no holdings or support you also made the assumption that was my argument
