My hypothetical wife and our 8 children will assist me with the maintenance of our family carrot garden and I shall trade Snakebucks for Bob's assistance and the assistance of 20 other eager comrades who want Snakebucks. Then I shall trade the carrots we produce for Snakebucks.

I mean each individual act is allowed. We're allowed to trade houses, we're allowed to plant veggies in out gardens, we're allowed to trade veggies, we're allowed to use IOUs for veggie trading...what's the issue here?

The I.O.U.s may not exactly be allowed. Some of the situations mentioned would have to be regulated.
