@Deleted User I love your picture.

2017-04-21 02:23:11 UTC

Expensive SSD is expensive.

2017-04-21 02:23:24 UTC

they are awesome tho, I'd go for the m.2 or whatever they are

2017-04-21 02:23:26 UTC

Although PCI-E based, so faster than SATA

2017-04-21 02:23:27 UTC

everytime i go SSD i always wake up without my ID

2017-04-21 02:23:30 UTC

it's bullshit

2017-04-21 02:23:52 UTC

latency is big, and pcie delivers alright

2017-04-21 02:23:55 UTC

ayo how y'all doin

2017-04-21 02:24:09 UTC

When I eventually build a dedicated rendering/streaming machine, I'm going with a 60gb m.2 SSD for the OS.

2017-04-21 02:24:23 UTC

And then HDD for storage.

2017-04-21 02:24:34 UTC

only 60GB?

2017-04-21 02:24:42 UTC

no 600

2017-04-21 02:24:45 UTC

oic

2017-04-21 02:24:49 UTC

better be

2017-04-21 02:24:50 UTC

Yeah, boot times will be nice.

2017-04-21 02:25:00 UTC

Nazi boot times are better

2017-04-21 02:25:02 UTC

I need to get a new laptop after I get a new phone. Any suggestions?

2017-04-21 02:25:05 UTC

Our technology has surpassed our biology.

2017-04-21 02:25:24 UTC

But for storage, a person doesn't need to use an SSD for it.

2017-04-21 02:25:57 UTC

For gaming on the other hand, SSD's are rather nice.

2017-04-21 02:26:01 UTC

That's cheaper than they've been in a while, but still beyond my price range

2017-04-21 02:26:19 UTC

Call me when 1 TB SSDs drop below $200

2017-04-21 02:26:57 UTC

TBs are that costly? My brothers computer is like 17 TBs

2017-04-21 02:27:08 UTC

SSD terrabytes are expensive.

2017-04-21 02:27:14 UTC

HDD on the other hand not so much.

2017-04-21 02:27:40 UTC

memory ain't cheap

2017-04-21 02:28:09 UTC

146 USD gets a person 5tb now days with an HDD.

2017-04-21 02:28:33 UTC

omg, that's insane

2017-04-21 02:28:38 UTC

That's not all too bad.

2017-04-21 02:28:40 UTC

I don't need that much storage

2017-04-21 02:30:03 UTC

SSD's are still such a large gap in price to storage on the other hand, and may as well only be for having the operating system, and the few games that fit run snappy.

2017-04-21 02:31:38 UTC

So, what? HDD is better?

2017-04-21 02:32:14 UTC

HDD has better price to storage. SSDs have faster reading and writing speeds.

2017-04-21 02:32:42 UTC

faster? More like light speed 😛

2017-04-21 02:33:00 UTC

Indeed. Windows on an SSD is an instant boot.

2017-04-21 02:33:06 UTC

Not too sure what my brother has. Probably SDD I'm gonna gusss.

2017-04-21 02:33:10 UTC

@Lord Poppy price per GB is way different, and you pay more for performance is all

2017-04-21 02:33:24 UTC

@Lord Poppy a 128GB boot drive is cheap tho

2017-04-21 02:33:32 UTC

and holds a few gigantic games

2017-04-21 02:33:40 UTC

Well he has 17 TBs

2017-04-21 02:33:49 UTC

omg, fucking hell
