my friend sent me a meme of the gillette ad
i haven’t seen it yet *kek*
he did but they blocked it worldwide so he took it down
I'm hoping he reuploads it without using as much footage as the first time
(I'm assuming it was blocked due to the amount of ad video that was in it)
YouTube needs to chill the fuck out with copystriking
^
agreed
tbf he showed the entire ad in his video
instead of showing clips and/or linking to the full thing
lol
so rep was in full well of his rights to do so.
I wasn't aware you were allowed to show an entire advertisement in full in your video, even if you were critiquing it.
Isn't that a bit too far?
What does the ad even say
Its not fair use lol.
If you show a entire clip of something that doesn't equate to fair use, it must transform the work.
What was his reaction to it? I didn’t see it
Anyway, i think i’ve asked this before but what should I get
• A PS4
• Xbox
• Gaming laptop/pc
PS4
Xbox in my opinion sucks
Gaming PC
Laptops are generally underpowered, and even if they weren’t, they have to be plugged while gaming. You also can’t mod them like you can PCs. The only advantage it has over the other two is that it’s mobile.
Xbox and PS4 are dying platforms, they also charge money for multiplayer functionality
PCs on the other hand can be upgrades, do not require what is effectively a second payment on your internet bill, they can be modified beyond just the memory, and can although they must remain in one spot unlike a laptop, so must an Xbox and PS4

Thank you!
I am on a low budget, which is why I was considering the laptop instead if i were to decide on it. I know a PC would need more things in order for it to run correctly. I also know almost nothing about anything.
But I’ll probably be debating this for the rest of my life, so RIP.

@cheejiburga I would suggest looking at the Linus Tech Tips channel on YouTube, they have holiday buyers guides for a bunch of different price levels. That said, I wouldn’t go below 1500
Most laptops worth their salt for gaming will be double that
1500..... shit
And that’s a computer with dated tech
*hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng*
It really is something you have to plan to do a lot of and be into, consoles are more for the casual market.
I’m sorry, I should have asked about a price range.
I'm in a similar position, have a laptop that I use for everything incl. gaming that's nothing to be proud of but gets the job done, and that PC is just out of reach of muh budget and time to spend
I have the funds to buy one at around 2500 before taxes, but that’s not just for gaming, I have to have that computer for college
i guess i’ll die
Sorry
