My problem with many feminists (and as a whole I think why there is such a repulsiveness among many men about it) is that they don't actually want to change social power distribution, they just want to improve female interests in the status quo

When the current state of affairs is criticized from a left wing standpoint, a large amount of people (both moderate left and right) will defend it to no end, it's like a blindly accepted "truth". People always make an exception for the time they're living in.

Why are historical cultures and even ones today in different regions scrutinized as being unfair and undesirable, but somehow the one we live in is perfect and if you fail at it, you must be doing something wrong?

It really is true that the victors write history, in the context of social hierarchies. Those who derive benefit from the social system they're acting in are going to defend it and tear apart the losers of the system

Am I the only one noticing some weird targeted ads from youtube and google related shit in general? I've noticed things I talk about in discord dms or speak about IRL are showing up as ads

Just asked my mom what she was watching about an hour ago. It was the purge. I didnt search anything related to that, or type anything. But youtube started randomly giving me recommendations for it as videos

I've heard lots of stories like that. No doubt they're eavesdropping on people's shit

I probably miss a lot since I have adblock at least on my PC. But sometimes they still show up and almost everytime they're creepily targeted
