You're not letting them down tho. They'll just replace you with somebody else within the month or so.
If they can lol
lol
We've been needing people for like 3 months
I'm supposed to work 12-8 today
I had the same problem at Walmart, unironically. I was their best worker, and people were bending over backwards to keep me. I still quit lmao
Well my reasoning is more than just what I said
I think they know it's coming
You don't owe your labor to anyone
exactly
^
Did you put in 2 weeks notice
It doesn't really matter what they think, ultimately, tbh. You have a goal (or hopefully you do) at doing something for a living. If said job is not giving you the satisfaction you want nor the career progression you want, you should look at it as a temporary gig.
Nothing more nothing less.
Cause let's be honest, when you're 67 and about to retire, I doubt the first thing that will pop into your head is this job if you're already having plans to quit.
it’s not having *plans* to quit, you’re just quitting
doei ✌🏻😗
lol
one important thing i’ve seen from friends “quitting” is that they don’t have a backup job yet
like, they haven’t been looking, don’t have any interviews lined up, etc
Man, u people gotta get your game on, dont need a backup job.
one dude lost 2 jobs bc his mom kicked him out and now he lives 3 hours away with his dad
I found one within a week.
he had $20 in his bank by the time he got his new job
Your determination means everything when it comes to your job and finding one.
stupid ass bought himself a $2K+ jeep before he found a stable job smh
i’ve held the same job since i was 17
i would’ve started working earlier, but i was in cross country and theatre, so i just couldn’t with timing
close the store at 10:30, be at school for cc at 5 am, no ma’am
It determines how you look while working, how you interact with people while working, etc, even more so it determines how dedicated you are to finding a new job, going to places of work asking for a manager to get that first connection.
Never taken a personal or a sick day off.
if you know you’re gonna quit your current job, you should already be looking for another
^
daaaamn, that’s impressive
lol
I work through it.
I don't.
the first “personal” day i took off was for my aunt’s funeral so :/
that was after like 2 years of straight work
the last coworker i had quit already had a teaching job lined up and confirmed
