Anyway technically beta is the letter that inspired the b in the latin alphabet and it has the same pronounciation to it, I'm fairly sure that modern Greek β can be both pronounced as a b and a v. Since originally the greek letter for v was digamma and it was only slowly assimilated into β due to charateristics of the spoken language mutating through time. @ΕΘΝΙΚH ΑΝΤΙΣΤΑΣΗ
nope, I can confirm it isn't used as a b
since I live here
all the shop signs and everywhere uses μπ
for direct b's
β can sound like a bv hybrid
but that's about it
mostly still a v tho
for example μπαταρια
Ah. It's kinda like spanish
like I see the sign in shops
Makes sense
never a β for a b
mp together kind of sounds like a b tho
closest thing to it
so that's why
This is why you are gay nerds
Whomstve even cares about letters man
It must have changed further, in ancient greek b is β but it can assume the pronounciation of v if in the archaic origin of the word there was originally a digamma as I said, which changed to the closest letter phonetically
Which is beta
here's an example
nihil's favourite shop
Digamma is the archaic letter for v

Cool
I see
ΜΠΑΤΑΡΙΑΣ = BATARIAS
Yes
That's a cool nerdy phonetical origin to tell though @ΕΘΝΙΚH ΑΝΤΙΣΤΑΣΗ
Comes straight from indo european
or like bananas in greek:
μπανανες
Based
Wtf
just another example
Anthropos you are the owner right? Is there another one?
