Apologies, I'm not too well versed on the stance of the Church on stuff like this. But, even being as lenient as I can to The State's view, I just can't bring myself to tarnish the spiritual connection of me and my wife over not wanting to have sex at a specific time.

To procreate is important. But not important enough to destroy your own spirit and that of your wife forever.

Also I'm pretty sure that women know marriage brings to having a family as well so the "marital rape" I'd say mostly happens because of pleasure
