Fuck, thought that looked wrong.

2019-12-01 07:41:19 UTC

*xiaomi*

2019-12-01 07:41:23 UTC

Xiaomi

looks like a mid to higher end model, but just wanted to know if anyone had other maybe non-xiaomi recommendations

2019-12-01 07:42:12 UTC

Just go on YouTube or Google and search Roomba vs, see what gets suggested

2019-12-01 07:42:32 UTC

Or Roomba vs Xiaomi vs

2019-12-01 07:42:53 UTC

That's all I did, there was at least one other noteworthy Chinese brand.

2019-12-01 07:43:37 UTC

At the *"more money than sense"* end, the Roombas faired well, but on the cheap end, Chinese dominated.

2019-12-01 08:07:10 UTC

I found some soundbars on amazon

2019-12-01 08:07:16 UTC

I might need to order one with a subwoofer

2019-12-01 08:07:23 UTC

it'll make my movie watching experience better I think

2019-12-01 08:07:47 UTC

also video games

2019-12-01 08:13:45 UTC

video games are better with headphones imo

2019-12-01 08:27:09 UTC

>looking for reviews on soundbars

2019-12-01 08:27:19 UTC

>it's either BEST SOUND ever

2019-12-01 08:27:27 UTC

>or it's this is the WORST sound ever

2019-12-01 08:27:29 UTC

who do I believe

2019-12-01 08:37:05 UTC

<:blobconfused:589100793420972042> which side has more force

2019-12-01 08:45:46 UTC

or go with something trusted

2019-12-01 08:45:57 UTC

and pay that extra 50

2019-12-01 08:46:04 UTC

for a trustworthy brand

2019-12-01 09:43:44 UTC

I can try and see if my Zishan Z3 works as output for the ps4 since it can function as a USB sound card

2019-12-01 09:43:51 UTC

But it won't have a mic

2019-12-01 09:47:44 UTC

@Jignx Most people don't buy a lot of speakers. They buy one, it's either better or worse than what they were replacing, and they review it as such. Audio stuff you either just make an educated gamble, pay for reputable brands, or find autistic reviewers.

2019-12-01 09:48:17 UTC

How much are you looking to spend?

2019-12-01 10:15:38 UTC

keep the box so u can sell it later

2019-12-01 10:54:15 UTC

I'm a big fan of the "hit up thrift stores and pawn shops and buy an old stereo system" vs a sound bar ngl

2019-12-01 10:54:36 UTC

I've never had amazing sound from a soundbar

2019-12-01 11:06:54 UTC

I just don't think a soundbar is capable of **great** audio. They're a happy compromise. They're small, sometimes easily mounted on the TV itself, affordable, and significantly better then the on-board speakers for most TVs. I got my mom a cheap Sanyo? for Christmas last year, and it's great for basic tv stuff! Quality and sound is fine, better our old TV, but it starts to degrade a fair bit, 50/50 the product and its placement, when it gets just to the point where some of us think it's too loud. This was also a fatty deal on https://www.meh.com/, so it was a a real cheap unit.

2019-12-01 11:15:42 UTC

Oh yeah, if you just want a easy solution to bad TV speakers they work great

2019-12-01 11:26:51 UTC

the only soundbar that impressed me is the high end Sennheiser one I tried at their flagship store in Australia

2019-12-01 11:27:17 UTC

otherwise just get some edifier 2channel meme and be done with it

2019-12-01 11:27:28 UTC

or get thrifty and grab some nice speakers for a very cheap price

2019-12-01 11:44:30 UTC

I'm always wary about thrifty speakers.

2019-12-01 11:49:06 UTC

Never know how poorly treated they were, or if they blew them out.

2019-12-01 12:32:17 UTC

this

2019-12-01 12:55:25 UTC

Definitely worth checking, maybe you'll get lucky, but also maybe see if there are any kind of return policies at the thrift store if it just doesn't work.

2019-12-01 13:35:45 UTC

I never used humble bundle what is that all about

2019-12-01 13:37:04 UTC

They got their start doing "bundles" of games, where you could choose what you wanted to pay to get them, with your choice of what fraction of that money went to the developers, charity, or the website itself

2019-12-01 13:37:35 UTC

It was usually one big-ticket game with a bunch of indie games to sweeten the pot
