There's no point in sucking up to Israel since Israel have no choice by to remain allies. They are surrounded by Mudslime.

2019-11-04 14:04:34 UTC

Part of the "giving money to Israel", is basically laundering money into lockheep, Boeing &co

2019-11-04 14:04:47 UTC

Well, yeah. They even admit it.

2019-11-04 14:05:02 UTC

since much, if not all is basically military contract vouchers

2019-11-04 14:05:03 UTC

They give Israel money so that Israel can purchase US made weapon systems.

2019-11-04 14:05:06 UTC

which have to be spent in US

2019-11-04 14:05:10 UTC

It is money laundering.

2019-11-04 14:05:49 UTC

That's not automatically bad either.

2019-11-04 14:06:05 UTC

Helps keep the companies running

2019-11-04 14:06:07 UTC

Not if you think like neocon.

2019-11-04 14:06:30 UTC

Obviously corporativism and cronyism are not bad if you think like neocon.

2019-11-04 14:06:31 UTC

Keeping your military industry running has a value in itself

2019-11-04 14:06:54 UTC

whether doing that through Israel is good is another question.

2019-11-04 14:07:13 UTC

Well, why should tax-payers pay for upkeep of bloated military industry?

2019-11-04 14:07:36 UTC

Why should tax-payers in USA pay for US military industry to pump their produce to Israel?

2019-11-04 14:07:37 UTC

Because the world hegemon needs the industry

2019-11-04 14:07:51 UTC

Why don't you try making **GOOD** cars instead of shit ones?

2019-11-04 14:08:06 UTC

Why don't you make solar panels? New batteries?

2019-11-04 14:08:19 UTC

Something that are on short supply and with huge demand globally.

2019-11-04 14:08:36 UTC

Because military industry isn't about commercial supply.

2019-11-04 14:08:41 UTC

or demand

2019-11-04 14:08:45 UTC

Why don't you actually serve markets where the purchase pays for the product, instead of US tax payer?

2019-11-04 14:08:54 UTC

it's about being able to blow the other guy up

2019-11-04 14:08:56 UTC

IIRC, someone was arguing that the military budget WASN'T Bloated

2019-11-04 14:09:02 UTC

within the last month or two

2019-11-04 14:10:32 UTC

You can use free markets to benefit the military industry, but they're not required for it. It's a separate thing that is necessary.

2019-11-04 14:10:48 UTC

@leavethisbotnet And you aren't convinced that USA has the nuclear capability to destroy human life on this planet five times over already without further investment in weapons?

2019-11-04 14:10:55 UTC

SSSR had it w/o free markets

2019-11-04 14:10:59 UTC

not from the nukes alone

2019-11-04 14:11:04 UTC

but maybe the fallout might?

2019-11-04 14:11:26 UTC

Fallout or nuclear winter and lack of sunlight and food.

2019-11-04 14:11:31 UTC

You can't just nuke your opponents, most of the time

2019-11-04 14:12:17 UTC

people caring about civilian losses.... smh

2019-11-04 14:12:38 UTC

So you aren't happy with amount of weapons until you can shoot every country to pieces without nukes, because reasons. It's not enough that you are bigger than how many... three(?) next biggest armies **COMBINED**?

2019-11-04 14:13:31 UTC

Being bigger counts for something, but it's by far not any guarantee. Look at Russia in WW1

2019-11-04 14:13:59 UTC

Why give money to military complex then, if being bigger doesn't make you better?

2019-11-04 14:14:08 UTC

It's a never-ending sinkhole of money.

2019-11-04 14:14:14 UTC

And you admit being bigger isn't even better.

2019-11-04 14:14:41 UTC

You may have 20 nuclear CVs, but if you lag behind technologically and the enemy can blow them up within first month of the conflict, they're not of much use.

2019-11-04 14:15:12 UTC

Development costs money.

2019-11-04 14:15:30 UTC

US military expenditure is far from efficient
