All of whom want to kill you
The nerves it takes seems different to modern warfare
@ManAnimal Germany thinks only people with at least two degrees in relevant sciences can be politicians
That's because you're a pussy, Lancelout
Does not help all that much
This is why I do tend to find ancient warfare more impressive.
Far more men in a single local area than in today, and you had to direct them using nothing more than runners, riders, horns, and flags.
yeah, but that is expected, Ukiso
The military genius of historical commanders is incomprehensible.
Merkel has several degrees. Still does plenty of flipflop and stupid
politics requires people skills, something most science minded academics LACK
That gif is too cruel.

They didn't have overhead shots and satellite imagery, or spy planes. They just saw a screen of the enemy front, had to do their best to align their forces in the best match-up, and then actually direct the battle whilst countering the enemy's directives to try and win.
I would honestly separate politician "job" into two positions
>> unironic lobbyst
>> oratorial convincer
so i am not suprised; that is very different from the notion that anyone looking to intepret or apply statistics be required to first receive the proper background
People can mock Crassus for his failure at Carrhae, and there are obviously mistakes he made we can now point out. But hindsight is 20/20.
Hello.
One to sway opinions (kinda like an attourney in court)
Other making cogs turn internally
That's why Alexander seems so impressive
so, prime minister and chancellor?
Because that's how it its
Make it official already, and regulate their ethics
Exactly. He won every battle he fought.
The ability to repeatedly collapse Persian forces 10 times his size
Israeli gookists
The man was brilliant.
doesn't the current russian system work that way in theory in regards to roles?
He did it all from the front as well. Alexander was not the type of commander to sit back and watch.
He personally oversaw training of his cavalry
Allegedly
Although, and all due credit to Alexander's genius goes to him, if it hadn't been for the competence and skill of his sub-commanders he probably wouldn't have done as well.
Fun fact: parliament cat was attacking Benjamin Netanyahu and not letting him into the brit Parliament when he was on offcicial visit
Antisemite cat
That was napoleon's issue
top degen
He had bad penchant for choosing idiot friends as commanders
