Both of which mainly were mainly repealed because of the Civil War
they got rid of 2 amendments banning alchohol

They would just never have a majority for it
the republican 13th amendment was put to congress in 1864 but the democrats voted it down... they lost the house in the next election... and the republicans who now ran both the house and senate put the 13th up again and got it through in 1865
You need a majority in every State Legislature
just goes to show how anti slavery and anti racist america is on the whole
And many Republican areas would never have a majority against the First Amendment
if any of the first 10 were repealed it'd be civil war tbh
