Sea urchins are cute af
that pic of one looks like it absorbs light
The sea otters love to eat them. They’ll scoop them off the rocks and crack them open while floating on their back.
And if you pet the spikes on a sea urchin they all collect around your finger and try to stab you

we have tons of urchins here, pretty good at avoiding them tho... eels on the other hand...
we have giant moray eels here... they have a tendancy to grab you by the ankle and retract... pulling you underwater till u drown
they like 2 wrap their tail around a rock as an anchor
well by giant i mean 'large as fuck' green moray eels
We have eels here, but they’re further out from the beaches and usually smaller.
They never attack people.
