it needs to be modified to remove the 2/3 majority requirement if the sitting government does not have a majority

and he will do lots of damage in the 14 days

it would then keep the intention of preventing governments abusing election timing for partisan gain, while preventing an opposition using it to prevent an election when the government is non-funcitoning due to a minority position

The opposition are literally holding him prisoner at this point

At this point an election is inevitable the opposition cannot be allowed to operate as the government

It turns the entire parliamentary system on its head
