oh, e3...
what a circus you've always been.
Hopefully it’ll be less cringe. Though the compilations are always fun
EA Play is always a cringe fest
What's going down here? Gen is being shitted up by hockeyfags
I've been working on a D&D campaign for a while now, but I'm kind of stuck and need suggestions. I played a short session in the world I built last year but it fizzled out, and now I'm considering moving the world storyline forward 6 to 12 months, which would mean the further invasion of the undead into the land and the beginning of breakdown of order.
Okay so question is: what kind of depraved shit would start happening once the supplies in local villages run dry since trade routes are cut off? What kind of unrest did you see in castles/cities during past eras when the poor class started starving?
@TheBadfish Rape, Cannibalism, Looting, and Murder, I reckon
at the very least, mass panic and murder
Rape is limited to riots, so sure if there's a food riot, but that's just because of the riot. Lack of food doesn't auto = rape.

Yes, but what if a family resists as you and your gang try to take their food?
<:hyperthink:462282519883284480>
First comes hoarding. Then comes theft from all the food stores. Food riots ensue later. After its been put down and order restored comes kidnapping, as the homeless and small children begin dissapearing.
You forget livestock too. I imagine people would probably try butcher monsters before people
Bulette steak anyone?
That however is assuming that the troops don't just coup you.
Or the local leadership at least
It very much depends upon the source of the food shortage
*>time to deal with the Kobold den*
>they a problem?
*>No we're going to turn them into burgers*
Well hell yeah guys those are good ideas
Food riots in the city, that's a good one
In a world with monsters it would be theoretically viable to just expell some of the men and tell them to come back with food, or not to come back at all.
Villages would probably just be desolated though
Food shortages would weaken them to monster attacks and doom them.
Oh that's true, but then what if there's a contingent of men who refuse to go after a certain point? Could cause a riot in and of itself.
This is giving me good ideas
Depends upon the city. If I were to do it, Food riots come first, and later come the burger aqusition xenocide expeditions.
Main thing is still what killed the food?
Honestly that'd be a good time for some economic fuckery
Lower prices for literally everything, except for food related supply's
Body's become loot.
Be a weird alternative mid game
The final boss would be dotty
