You were right to not buy B3 on Epic.
Borderlands 3 is currently undergoing beta testing on Epic. Huge balancing and technical issues. Across all platforms. Last night every item of gear I had in the bank disappeared. Beginning to think that one of the reasons it was released on Epic is because you can't get a refund. I certainly want one.

There's going to be a legal snafu over EULAs eventually if this shit keeps getting more and more ridiculous. They only even exist as-is because they're in a legal grey area, and nobody wants to deal with challenging a corporate legal team even if they'd be in the right to do so.
IIRC, one of my lawyer friends said that they're extremely untested in contract law, and there's a very good chance they'd be thrown out simply because of the degree to which nobody reads them.
