John motherfucking Shepard (Press F)
Not if you use the MEHEM.
Mass Effect Happy Ending Mod.
LOL
I still refused to play ME3 to date because of that shit, rushed, nonsensical ending
loved 1 and 2 (but especially 1)
Yep. But the MEHEM makes it all worth it.
What does it do? Add in a soapland massage parlor?
Williams giving us the "happy ending"?
It uses game assets, as well as new voice and cutscene files to completely rework the ending.
nice
the fuck would you go normal human?
It's really fucking awesome, actually. A real collaborative effort to tell the developers "Fuck you and your shitty ending, we've made a better one in a cave with a box of scraps."
By why play mass effect 3 when you can play mass effect 1 right? xD
Kek.
i mean if you think about it you pretty much stop the reapers from even entering your world entirely while they are stuck in the void
problem solved.
@Goodwood of Dank™ What's this ending like?
It actually does things like remove the starbrat, have Shepard survive, and the Normandy not piss off to some unknown star system.
Well, I'm fine with the kid being replaced by a user manual booklet, and with Normandy not being Deus Ex-ed, but anything that doesn't kill Shepard is dumb. Death is a perfect conclusion to her/his story.
Kek.
I mean, why should s/he die, though?
If you've got the reputation, and your crew loves you that much, why wouldn't they want to rescue you?
Because Jesus Christ also died to save us
Symbolism.
That's dumb symbolism, tho.
At best, it should be a character choice, like with the end of Dragon Age: Origins.
How much would that choice matter given it's literally game over after it anyway?
Fuck off
Because I spent so many years invested in that character. To have it all thrown away like that, literally caused psychological wounds. I got better in the end, but it was heart-rending.
Jesus symbolism and self sacrifice is so over done
That's partly why it's dumb, yes Muten.
But that's the whole fucking point.
